At Cool Banana, we believe in the quiet beauty of imperfection and the soulful warmth of handmade objects. Every piece is crafted entirely by hand using raw mineral clay, fired at 1300°C without any chemical treatment. The result is pottery that breathes—organic textures, natural iron specks, and fine crackles that celebrate the passage of time.

Behind each creation is Korean ceramicist Kim Soo-hyun (金秀泫), who resides and works in Jingdezhen, China—the historic heart of porcelain. For her, making pottery is a joyful, meditative practice, and each vessel carries a sense of calm, patience, and lived-in beauty. Whether it’s the soft brush of glaze or the uneven rim formed by hand, her work honors both tradition and individuality.
