About. Slow Sunday

Slow Sunday is a lifestyle concept shop featuring homeware and other daily goods crafted by creative souls from around the globe.

The three of us (Di, Daniel, and Donna), all work in the creative industry and are the minds behind Slow Sunday. Our passion and appreciation for design and craftsmanship has been an utter focus in our work and daily lives.

This past year our friendship further deepened in our shared experience of remodeling our respective houses. The art of remodeling a house can be both adventurous yet so demanding. Each of us spent hours upon hours searching for those fine-made goods (particularly modern designs from Asia and Europe) to decorate our new homes, and thought...if only there was one place where we could find all the designer homeware we love. With that thought in mind, on a slow Sunday morning, we were sitting in Daniel and Donna's living room bench, sipping a cup of tea using Kinto's Sepia mug, paired that with a piece of delicious Japanese cheese cake, we decided to turn this shared experience of sourcing designer lifestyle goods to an actual idea.

Our curation of goods is guided by the same principle that drives us each day: finding original designs from around the world and making them accessible to households in the US and beyond.
