Every piece is meticulously handcrafted — from the wheel-thrown form to the engraved petal lines and delicate gold accents, which shimmer gently in changing light.

The rim’s linear design draws the eye inward, creating a contemplative space around each flower-laden center — whether it's soft white camellias or indigo blossoms nestled in golden foliage. These plates are not just tableware, but an intimate expression of craft and stillness.

About the designer

Behind each creation is Korean ceramicist Kim Soo-hyun (金秀泫), who resides and works in Jingdezhen, China—the historic heart of porcelain. For her, making pottery is a joyful, meditative practice, and each vessel carries a sense of calm, patience, and lived-in beauty. Whether it’s the soft brush of glaze or the uneven rim formed by hand, her work honors both tradition and individuality.
